CBAI and Associates is seeking an Acquisition Logistics Analyst to provide ILS support on Mine Warfare Systems to PEO Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Systems in Washington, DC. 


  • Provide the client logistics staff with comprehensive Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program management support for acquisition and in-service mine countermeasure combat systems; with emphasis on the acquisition of logistics support plans and products, which provide for the sustainment of Navy systems from fleet introduction throughout their useful life.
  • Attend, or conduct, program office meetings and teleconferences as a representative of client's logistics staff to provide information regarding ILS concerns, gather information from original equipment manufacturer (OEM), in-service engineering agent (ISEA), ILS, etc. in order to adjust system planning appropriately.
  • Review Engineering Change Proposals for logistic impacts, identify issues/concerns, and assist with providing solutions.


  • BA or BS degree in a related field.
  • Must have a minimum of  (2) years of acquisition and program management support in a DoD program office.
  • Knowledge of logistics related documents such as the Logistics Requirements Funding Summary (LRFS), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Single Acquisition Management Plan, Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) charts, maintenance plan, item unique identification plans preferred.
  • Ability to write, review, and edit these types of documents.
  • Familiarity with the 12 product support elements and their logistics support plans, for example, Navy training system plans (NTSP), provisioning, and supply chain products is preferred.
  • Experience with aviation maintenance and training (Navy/Marine Corps rotary wing preferred). In support of fielded systems, a background with Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS), Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA), or Decision Knowledge Programming for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (DECKPLATE) desired.
  • Ideal candidate will be proactive and a self-starter.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Windows software, including Word processing, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and database applications.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government Secret Clearance.
