CBAIA is seeking a Logistics Specialist to provide Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) support at Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Barstow, CA.
Provide support to Division Operations Section to include analysis, reporting, and advice on day to day operational matters.
Ensure successful completion of all mission operations in accordance with established policies and management goals regarding funding, storage, work load, manpower capability, component, issue, equipment items, and inventory control procedures.
Advise contractors on work operations and execute mission projects.
Determine future manpower requirements by updating reports related to the storage, maintenance, distribution operation, individual labor and attendance.
Provide on-site logistics support to maintain established production schedule during the DMC core working hours of 0800 to 1700, Monday through Friday.
Plan, organize, schedule and oversee material inventories as directed from higher headquarters.
Prepare correspondence relating to Division operations as required.
Provide analysis on property records as required.
Review property record adjustments for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to the Department Inventory Section.
Prepare and process daily Recurring Status Reports, Receipt Exception Listings, and Inbound Receipt Reports.
Provide analysis on future manpower requirements by updating reports related to the storage, maintenance, distribution operation, individual labor and attendance.
The contractor is authorized to operate pickup trucks; golf carts scooters for the purpose of personal transportation within the confinements of the industrial complex.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
1-3 years of logistics specialist experience.
Experience with and knowledge of USMC supply, inventory, and warehouse procedures is a preferred.
Must be able to obtain a government Common Access Card (CAC).
