Overview

CBAIA is seeking a Mid-Level Logistician to provide support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Systems Safety Branch. The primarily work location may be Stafford, VA or Dahlgren, VA.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Government customer in the planning, coordinating and execution of numerous acquisition program logistics efforts for weapon systems, subsystems and equipment.
  • Developing support policies, procedures and systems, implementing guidance and implementing effective logistic support associated with Lifecycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment.
  • Preparation and review of correspondence, documents to include logistics analyses.
  • Research and respond to issues from the acquisition community and the operating forces as well as develop and brief information to multiple levels of Program Management.
  • Ensures that all logistics support documentation is prepared in accordance with current Marine Corps, Navy, and DOD directives and policies.
  • Research and draft strategies for supply support, test and support equipment.
  • Perform and document studies to implement fielding and sustainment and perform expert level reviews and analysis of logistics products.

Qualifications

  • A High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate and seven (7) years of professional experience in integrated logistics.
  • A Bachelors' degree with at least three (3) years of professional experience or an Associate’s degree with at least five (5) years of experience may be substituted.
  • Experience must include three (3) years in developing support policies, procedures and systems, implementing guidance, implementing effective logistic support, and developing, initiating, integrating and managing all logistics associated with lifecycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
